Update, June 15 2022

A quiet morning on North Hanover. Radio on, cats are snoozing. I’ve begun packing up books. So many books.

Ruth Hoy : Last week I went to Chapel Pointe to pay Ruth a visit. At that time, that wing was on a COVID lockdown. That lockdown will end soon, so I will pay a visit next week. It is my experience that Ruth doesn’t recognize me. That doesn’t surprise me. She has gained a few pounds, which is not a bad thing. Please keep Ruth and her entire family in prayer.

Worship Schedule :
June 19 I will be preaching and presiding. That day is my last sermon from the St Matthias pulpit.
June 26, we will welcome Rev Carla Christopher at St Matthias as our guest preacher. That day will be the 3rd anniversary of St Matthias becoming a Reconciling in Christ congregation. I will be presiding. That day is also Farewell and Godspeed; there will be cake.

Prayer List : We raise all military, first responders, including Christian. We remember those affected by COViD, still moving around the world after over two years. We ask for traveling mercies for all, including the family of Rev. Matthew Best from St Stephen in New kingstown, at they take vacation. May all find times for rest. We raise before God : Pam, Betty Lou, Bill, Scott, Seth, DJ, Margaret, George, Arleen, Greg, Ruth, Darryl. Billie, Dave, Tim and Lisa. We ask for all ministers and seminarians as they discern where The Spirit is leading them.

Be well, people of God. See you in Church.
